Our Story
The concept of Affirmation Tees started with a tattoo; one very personal and meaningful. It’s in a cryptic and mirrored design—so only I read it and know what it means when I see my reflection in the mirror.
I’ve been knocked down a time or two in life and have struggled with my mindset during my life’s path. (A huge reason I got my tattoo.) Negative self-talk is relentless at times so I have discovered tools to help me recover and maintain a healthier mindset. I found affirmation statements incredibly empowering to quiet the negative self-talk and help me remember who I’m becoming. Over the years, I have changed my life by this simple practice.
I had an epiphany while thinking about how I might empower myself during my daily routine: take the self-talk concept of my tattoo and apply it to my most powerful affirmation statements! But I had no desire to get another tattoo. And then it hit me: make tee shirts so I can wear my affirmation statements based on my mindset need for any occasion.
And Affirmation Tees was born!
